I dont see how that tells us anything about Brook. He is going to step up in his next fight, and continue to slowly step up in competition. If you were him would you go from fighting tin cans to fighting someone that just shared a ring with Pac man and didnt get rolled over. And you make these uneducated posts, yet you know nothing about the offer on the table, just that Kell ducked Bradley and is a ducker. You people need to remember this is real life and this is his career. Its just not smart for him to take a huge risk at this stage. He is not the finished article, as we saw in the carson jones fight. Be real.
They sayin Kell gonna fight a keep busy fight in March then fight someone better, the Alexander fight aint happenin for ****
Brooks not afraid, how can you be afraid to fight for a world title? nervous , yes , afraid never...Brooks doing the right thing under Hearn, which is slow progress, gaining experience before fighting the best. Now hes ranked nu 2 by the IBF and mandatory for the title against Alexander. He fights Alexander and outboxes him over 12 rounds, in an empty arena cos noones interested in him. Brook will beat your Mayweather! one day.
Brook rejected the fight with Bradley because of the proposed terms, it was supposed to be for **** all money and future options on Brook. Most of the American posters on here see Brook as an easy victory for a good American fighter, now wouldn't you agree he should be paid well for taking his loss? and if he managed to somehow win this bout shouldn't he have the choice to fight who he wants? I don't see how anyone can blame him for not fighting Bradley.
dude theres more chance of Alexander vacating the belt than Brook not wanting the fight, the winner of Brook-Jones was meant to fight the champ Bailey but GBP conveniently got their boy Alexander shoved right up their rankings into mandatory, and now that he`s champ i doubt he`ll wanna fight Brook due to money, there's more money fighting in Britain but no way Alexander will do that plus Brook aint a big name stateside. so Alexander will more than likely drop the belt or try and unify
Do you know nothing of boxing politics? If you'd got yourself close to a position where you know the champ has no choice but to fight you, where he and his promoter could not enforce any contractual terms upon you would you give that power up??? The Bradley offer was shite and Hearn was right to say no Trust Bob arum???? are you ****ing dumb???? Arum stabbed Manny in the back and protected his cash cow Rios after he was schooled by Abril. Now Brook is mando and Alexander must fight him or drop the belt he can buy time by going for a unification fight but after that he has no choice but to fight brook, and i think Hearn will win the purse bids
Brook went life and death with Jones, and with all due respect to Jones,in the grand scheme of things,he's a ****in nobody. Brook represents everything that is wrong with British boxing, over hyped, overated, and in over his head when he fights anybody remotely world class. No wonder the rest of the world don't take our fighters seriously.
I think he wanted to get a belt, to put him in a better bargaining position against a bigger name fighter.
I don't blame Brook for not fighting Bradley. Bradley's a class above in talent and experience. No reason to take a sure loss when the money isn't going to be great.
"sure loss" is speculation, the choice was more about keeping control of his future and not letting Arum get his claws into brook
Bradley has been in with and beaten superior fighters to Brook. Brook doesn't have the pop to stop him or the talent to outbox him...It's about as sure a loss as can be.
