Bunce said during the Garica/Morales card that 30th November Flintoff makes his boxing debut at the M.E.N Arena... which is a friday and also I think Liam Walsh vs Truscott is on the same card... anybody know anything else about the card? seems weird it being at the M.E.N
Will be interesting now to see who Boxnation will opt for because of David Price vs Skelton is on November 30th at Aintree Racecourse
Sensible thing would be to stick the whole lot on at Aintree. Flintoff isn't going to sell Manchester Arena out anyway. Odd though that Sky, whilst making a programme about Freddie's preparations, wouldn't follow through and show his bout.
With Price v Skelton now confirmed for Fri 30 November at Aintree. Can anyone confirm if the Flintoff show scheduled for the same night at the Manchester Arena is still going ahead?
i cant see freddie selling out the MEN and i reckon sky know its not going to be the fight that alot of people believe it will be and not worthy of the fanfair!! i hope they go with the price vs skelton bill to stoke up the price vs fury rivalry!!

Ciaran Shanks ‏@CiaranShanks @boxnationtv What's happening in regards to Price-Skelton and Flintoff's debut, are both being broadcast on the same night? BoxNation ‏@boxnationtv @CiaranShanks Not confirmed yet Ciaran, but it's a possibility, yes. We'll tweet when we have the fight settled in the calendar.
I think they MASSIVLY overestimated Flintoff’s popularity, they probably regret putting it on at the MEN. I’m from Bolton and there are posters everywhere, heard a few radio adds as well. Probably spent too much on it all to cut their loses now, I know you have to pay a deposit on the MEN and I can’t imagine that’s cheap.
I like cricket like but this stinks of nothing more than a PR stunt. Flintoff was notoriously fat and out of shape for his whole cricketing career, now he wants to start boxing? At 34? Give me strength. Just stick him in with a heavyweight with a decent punch and Flintoff will soon realise that this whole crazy idea was a bad one. Stop wasting everyone's time and go back to making run of the mill documentaries.
Having had the misfortune to watch a bit of his "nature documentary" series on the Discovery channel I'm not sure that's such a good idea. David Attenborough he is not.
