Something else tells me that, should they not fight, that it wouldn't be a duck. The word gets used entirely too much around here, inappropriately. It would most likely be because Froch would have bigger and better options.
He won't duck him. He probably won't fight him, but this doesn't mean he'll duck him FFS. Sometimes i wonder what the **** is wrong with some of the people on here.
IBF rules state mandatories hold precedent over immediate rematches. This would be a shameful duck on Froch's part.
This would be as shameful as the time that Froch decided to duck a big name like Pavlik (the number 1 WBC contender) to fight the comparably obscure Andre Ward. :-(
