Solomon could have taken Senchenko's belt. He had nearly as lucrative a purse offer as Malignaggi but turned it down. Now that may be the result of promoter difficulties, but having a belt would improve his attractiveness to other promoters compared to his current situation.

dude is damn good and a slickster but he doesn't have an appealing style, big power or anything that screams star. Boxing really has less than 5 actual stars so for him not be considered one isn't a slight but I'm guessing you're asking why he isn't well known.

He should be whooping anyone's ass that he can on ESPN, HBO, SHO ect any fight he can get. He good but unknown even by most networks. And he was 28 like 2 years back no? So age isn't on his side. Too much waiting around. He him or his promoter need to get motivated and make things happen.

Sadly I think his short windows passes. With his age and style he might manage to grab a belt but age will start creep up on him. Not everyone can keep there speed and reflexes for that long. Sergio is a rare case even with not boxing for that long it hard to stay as sharp and fast as he has. Maybe Solomon can do it but the odds say otherwise.
