I've never seen the fight so how did this 140 lb beast Mathysse get beat on the cards when Amir Khan made Judah quit?

Lucas was content to fight methodically early on. He ain't really heat up until later on in the fight. He still won tho. The KD sealed it for him.

    Judah clearly beat him.

looking back, it is surprising that Judah "won" that fight. If they had a rematch, I think it wouldn't go past 7 rounds though

Matthysse was highly doubted, as his only notable win before coming to the US to fight Zab was a bad, early stoppage of Vivian Harris. Lots of people were hating on him.

While I clearly think Matthysse is the better fighter than Zab and would beat any version of him H2H if I had to make a prediction, all I can say is that I scored the fight to Zab Judah by 1 point.

Super close fight, and I think people lose credibility when they claim that Matthysse dominated.

i think this is just one of those situations where styles makes fights. its been mentioned on here before. but just to reiterate. judahs used to being faster than his opponents, and the reach and speed of khan really seemed to frustrate him. whereas matthyse, while being more powerful than khan, started off slow and doesnt possess the hand and foot speed of khan. just my opinion

He thought he wouldn't get robbed in Zab's hometown LMAO so native. And then he got robbed in Devon's hometown. Fool him once shame on him, Fool him twice shame on him. Fool him thrice? He is knocking you out

Mathysse landed almost nothing meaningful for the 1st 9 rds, outside of a few bodyshots here & there. Both were very inaccurate though. Had it 6-3 Judah going into the 10th. Judah gets dropped in the 10th, barely recovers, and spends the remainder of the fight on his tricycle, allowing Mathysse to sweep the remaining 3 rds. Which gave Mathysse the win on my card due to the knockdown. Far from this huge robbery that most people claim it was though.

Matthysse's improved a good deal since that fight. I think he'd stop Judah in a rematch.

Judah usually has a speed advantage over everyone.... khan is fast too... But add the height to the picture, it makes him a tough fight....

    #1 Khan's offense is underrated
#2 Judah even at this point, is underrated as an entire fighter.
#3 Matthysse is good, and he is a beast, but styles make fights and he couldn't beat Judah. So perhaps he is slightly overrated right now, just slightly.

I'm actually one of the few that wouldn't mind seeing Judah vs Garcia.
