Great fights..I and II...Its just that Saad get beat up really bad in both fights...Dwight was only 5'6 but only gave up 1 inch in reach..one of the best spectacles Ive seen in the LHW division..Just simply brilliant. But the question is why did Saad lose so poorly in both fights?

Too many wars by that point, bad style matchup for Saad too. Qawi was too slick and too strong, did a really good job of taking away Matt's right hand in the first fight from what I remember

I agree, he was out boxing him..landing much more powerful and accurate shot..Saad just couldnt get Dwight off him at any point..And your right about Saad's right hand..every time he missed Qawi made him pay for it big time....Well said my man..Thankyou for posting.:bbb:nut:bbb

As good of a matchup it looked like on paper...Qawi just had his number and was beating the **** and snot out of him..Saad's right hand was no use to him in this fight.

Dwight Bracston was a beast for any light heavy at the time. Mathew Saad was my favorite fighter, so I was pretty down trodden when my boy Saad got beat down. To tell the truth I did enjoy either fight. Qawi did something real nice with his jab, which was hit you square in the face with it then threw it slightly to the left to let his opponent slip it, and have them slip into his right hand. Qawi was to quick and defense to good for the slow ansd well worn Saad.

No he was a beast..He fought Holyfield at 190 ans gave Holy a hell of a fight...And yes his right hand was infective.

Bad matchup for Saad, coupled with him being past his best.

    Qawi was ace.

It was a combination of Qawi peaking and Saad rapidly declining. Saad to a horrible beating in the last Lopez fight. He had so many wars, he didn't have much left after that fight. Qawi fought a shot fighter in Saad.
