:goodThat one sparring session is the only footage of him. Btw, this most definitely belongs on the Classic.

160 may just be the greatest division in the history of the sport. :yep

In terms of housing Bad Ass Mother****ers anyway, it's a no-brainer. :deal

On a serious note other than Monzon obviously, Tiger, Williams, Fitz and Ketchel were woefully missing from that run down. In terms of badasses, Valdez and Briscoe would certainly be there too.

You and all your would, could and should. :-(

Robinson has the quality and depth to make a very strong case, and you've admitted this yourself. :deal

    Har har har.

Tell you what though, the way Ray went about making himself the #1 contender for a shot at the crown was legendary. When he really got serious about campaigning as a Middleweight full time, he ripped through 60% of the division's top contenders in short order.

    08/49: Steve Belloise W-TKO7
    05/50: Ray Barnes W-UD10
    06/50: Robert Villemain W-UD15
    08/50: Jose Basora W-KO1
    10/50: Joe Rindone W-TKO6
    10/50: Carl Olson W-KO12
    12/50: Robert Villemain W-TKO9

The showing in Europe was dazzling as **** too, a lot of those on film. No carrying. :deal

For all the hoo-hah about Robinson's 147 prime, he actually leveled or stopped more, better opposition fighting as a Middleweight. Not to be confused with WW Robinson fighting middleweights, as he did through the 1940s. I mean, when he was comfortably coming in weighing at the 154-160 range. His power... Good reason to believe it went up as he did in weight based on the results against rated opposition. Everything else may of dropped though.
