Croke Park? Maybe if he fought a Klitschko...

    Fight Price and lose already...

he's definitely not Canadian. We accept all kinds, Lewis, Ruddock, Ben Johnson, but not Tyson Fury. Our guy should have beaten him anyway, if Tyson wasnt saved by the ref.

or jimmy mclarnin despite moving when he was 3, learning to fight elsewhere and never returning there.....:hey:hey Or Micky Ward......or Gerry Cooney

it's marketable to claim you're irish in boxing even if the only thing irish about you is your ancestors and you've never had anything to do with the place til it was convenient.

I'd love to see Fury get his shot and get bludgeoned back to obscurity where he belongs.

My father was born in Peckham London to Irish parents and believe it or not he was raised as an Irish person in an Irish house in an Irish are of London at the time, it was never convenient for him to be Irish but thats the way he was raised, he moved back here at 14 with his family and the only thing English about him was his accent which he lost fairly quickly !

I dont see the harm in it.

Matthew Mackin has jumped on the Iirish bandwagon too.
The way I see it, we need as many people as we can get!
