    How is Lara unproven. He whooped Paul Williams somewhat easily.

    Rigondeaux beating Cordoba, and Ramos inside of ten pro fights shows he is the real deal on the pro level. Or is the standard different for him?

    Even if Canelo had beaten a damaged Pwilly thats still unproven. Lara beating Williams at 50% is not proving much if anything it proved Lara only beat a name, a fighter half as good as his former self, and an easier version Lara couldn't even ko or stop. So please stop comparing the version Maravilla fought and the one Lara fought.

    As for Rigo, I think when a fighter is unproven it means he hasn't fought an elite. Ramos and especially Cordoba are not elites. Mares, Moreno, Agbeko, etc those are elites.

    Depends. Proven to be an elite or proven to be solid with all the right tools? There's a difference. Guys like Lara and Rigo are not elites yet but they have proven to me they can beat anyone in their division. Yes, you can say the same for any fighter since anything can happen in a fight but these guys I've mentioned are notches above bums who aren't likely to crack the top 10 list.
