British is not a Nationality. That's as daft as claiming to be an EU Nationalist.

"Nationality" as in "Citizen of a state".

    British national/ Citizen of Britain

as opposed to "ethnicity" as in "member of an ethnic group", however narrowly/recently you wish to define that.

lol, NO, the Queen is not our Head of State. Yes, we do have her face on our money, and I do live right beside the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way), and I believe there is a law that one can be put to death here in Canada for committing conspiracy to kill the Queen, but that's like the laws forbidding one to marry their horses, old, outdated laws. She is just a symbol.

Personally, I think a citizenship should be determined by the person. I'm first generation Canadian (My mom is English, my dad Polish) but i am 100% Canadian with European ancestory. However, my father, while born in Poland (which is now Ukraine I think since the war) considers himself Canadian. I can recall seeing a friendly between Canadxa and Poland, and we were the only two in Varisty Stadium cheering for Canada. I also remember the World Basketball Championships held in Toronto, Juniors I think, and the whole crowd booed Canada and cheered on Greece. Too many people take Canada for granted and what it gives people, quality of life, freedom, health care, etc, and apparently, Lennox is no different. Was like a dagger in the heart when he decimated Ruddock all those Halloweens ago

Can we not just have the option of English as it would be a lot handier?

Ben Johnson: Pre Seoul- Canadian; Post-Seoul- Jamaican.

He changed nationalities in 9.79 seconds lol

However, Americans had it backwards. Before the Olympics, he was the Jamaican born Canadian Johnson. Afterwards, Americans just referred to him as Canadian.

He's a bit of a weird one, born of a Jamaican immigrant mother and father in the UK and moved when he was fairly young to Canada then moved back after the second Olympics to the UK for his professional career then moved to the United States after that and is married to Miss Jamaica. If he was Lennox the Lorry driver or Lennox the bum living off the public dole, the EDL/SDL/etc. would probably be claiming he wasn't British and should be deported.
