Marquez is clearly not taking necessary chances to win here, he's not fighting like he wants the win.

 

That is the one.

 

"He didn't do anything wrong." He usually said this when someone did everything wrong, like Berto standing directly in front of Ortiz with his guard down and getting knocked down.

 

I loved when he said "Ohhhhh my god" when Vicious Knocked Berto down in the 6th round! I also liked when he would always say "This fight is going exactly as I imagined"

 

I loved that moment. "and Ward is tiring...and here comes GATTI BACK!!" "This should be the round of the century!"

When he was training Dennis Andries in a title fight v aussie Jeff Harding . Andries was winning the fight but Manny kept telling Dennis in the latter rounds that he was behind .
This made Andries fight right through until being stopped by Harding in round 12 .
Tactically not Manny's best night but it made for an unforgettable fight and conclusion .
The fight was close on the card's at the time of the stoppage .
Great trainer and nice guy but that's the one I always remember !

 

I can't remember the fight. But it was the only time I heard Emmanuel say "this fight is going exactly the opposite of how I thought it would go"

Go to the 4:00 mark. You can hear Manny shouting at Hearns from outside the ring. (Awesome performance by Hearns, incidentally.)

And then he rushes in and gives Tommy a big hug after the KO. This fight helped put Manny on the map.

My favorite was when Hopkins called Manny an "Uncle Tom" to his face. Manny looked like he was gonna **** himself, but he had enough sense to know who he was talking to and shut the **** up and took it like he was SUPPOSED TO.

 

"THE BODY! GO TO THE BODY!"

Really can't beat that.

The, "OH MY GOD!" moment in the Ortiz Berto fight was another classic.

My favorite moment would simply to see Steward alive once again, just to see him talk, walk, train.......................we will see Steward once again when Vlad fights Wach, he will never die.............his spirit will always be. I just wish USTV would not boycott Vlad Vs. Wach fight. but USTV will not be able to keep fans from watching the fight.................no matter how hard they try...........
