I just got around to watching the Tony Bellew fight. Bellew is no adonis but was much bigger than Miranda. His punches dont have the same affect and as it stands he is 1-4 as a light heavyweight with the lone win being against a 24-9 fighter. Miranda is still only 31 years old, but fighting at this weight is pointless
Miranda's career has taken a cliff dive. Still entertaining to watch, but he's been relegated to professional opponent. Still love his brutal KO of Banks though.
Heard that his former manager said he bounces up to around 220 lbs in between fights and his work ethic is ****. I'll try to find a link to the article. At LHW though his power seems to be close to non-existent though.
he is 31 but looks really old you know he reminds me of Randall Bailey or any other fighter who gets drunk on his own power, he has a great right hand and thats it, Miranda has been around forever and never once improved his arsenal, he has nothing to compliment his right basically if you can take his punch or take away his punch and the fight gets past the 4th or 5th its over for him Chilemba and Bellew could take his shots and were just too big for him, Miranda was in the Chilemba fight and got cut but you knew he wasnt gonna hang on I was very high on him, i think he got dicked around in the Abraham fight, i also felt that version of Miranda could KO Taylor i remember when Miranda called out Taylor before the Pavlik fight, it was almost like he over looked Kelly and he paid he never once has gotten near form again, i remember he was gonna fight Stieglitz, Stieglitz got hurt so he fought Bute, i felt he should have waited for Stieglitz to heal
He's just an opponent now for up-and-comers, sadly. Miranda was always a fun guy to watch. That Bellew fight was also really shady, in my opinion.
