    Bob Arum.

It occurs far too frequently that a Top Rank fighter is involved in a fixed fight. Take Manny's last two fights. Loses to Marquez but squeaks out a win. Defeats Bradley but receives a loss.

"Arum said there will be one on Nov. 10, though he thought Pacquiao won easily, as did most writers at ringside.

"I'll make a lot of money off the rematch, but this was outrageous," Arum said."

Don King and Arum are on par.

I don't know what else the WBC has done "dirty" besides permitting Chavez to skip drug tests and then saying "lol forgot"

And I'm not being smart I honestly don't know

I thought King just robbed fighters blindly? I didn't know of anything he did "dirty," but I sure as hell wouldn't be surprised

Currently Arum yes, he's been caught and fined for fight fixing in the past and to me it's obvious he has done it since

Don King is much less of a force in boxing now, but he's an equally nasty peice of work

Plus, he killed a guy with a trident this one time

I think Don is ahead of Bob in being "dirty"....I mean, he's a former convict....he's taken the life of another man.... Don is definitely well ahead of Bob.

that doesnt surprise me you dont know how sleazy the WBC is because all you do is beat a dead horse by saying Arum is scum. yet the guy is 80 years old and has never been in trouble but once about 20 years ago for trying to get one of his fighters ranked so he could fight for a world title.
arum fixing fights and paying off judges and refs is just ****ing stupid, do you not think 1 person would have blown the whistle on him by now? or the feds to find one piece of paper showing corruption? 1 phone call saying something incriminating? **** no. this old man who is close to 100 just out smarts the FBI and the world everyday somehow
    ****ing morons :patsch:lol:

Why would the FBI give a **** about boxing? I do think Arum is involved in bribing judges and fixing fights. Why would anyone blow a whistle and who would they blow it to? Arum's got the money to keep many, many people happy.

And, as you said, he's only been caught once

I agree...but Bob is a promoter which means he's a liar.....and I don't really trust the guy at face value....but you're absolutely right about never being in trouble for the accusations some of the other posters accuse him of.

    how old are you? 12?

Boxing whether you know this or not is a business. If a business is doing something its not supposed to like "bribe judges"/ fight fixing.. its illegal because it affects the the people involved who play by the rules. and if they are doing one thing wrong, they may be doing multiple things wrong like not paying taxes, ect. THATS WHY. They cant just do what they want, thats what the FBI is around for to keep an eye on things like this , otherwise it would be pure chaos! :-(
he was caught offering a bribe to the IBF to get his fighter ranked in the top 15. yes thats wrong. but its not paying someone to not judge, or paying someone to fall down. he wanted his guy to at least have a chance to fight. The IBF was just as guilty because they accepted it. but then again, we are talking 30 years ago..... wtf ? seriously? hes a branded mob boss forever now? the Harvard educated attorney/ criminal :rofl
