Leonard Ellerbe should be a replacement @ HBO, I could see him being very articulate.

    I understand that Jim Lampley and Larry merchant are there just to raise hype (Color commentators), Max/Stewart being the knowledgeable ones. I think Leonard is closer to Stewart than he is to Merchant. He's knowledgable, A CEO, a well spoken man, a good man in general. People want to see him.

    He's way more knowledgeable than you give him credit for, he's been in the game for 16-17 years, helps train Floyd. His credentials are insane.

    Merchant has covered boxing as a columnist and beat writer since the late 50's starting in Philadelphia working for their biggest newspaper and then moving to New York in the 60s covering boxing and other sports and has been with HBO since the beginning . he knows about 100 times more than max ****ing kellerman

    Leonard would make for a great commentator. His many years of experience as a CEO, Assistant to the P4P king, fitness trainer. Just everything about him makes him a great candidate.

    To replace a legend like Emmanuel Stewart who is one of the most revered trainers in the last 30 yrs with Floyd Mayweather's biggest suck up and yes man would not only be an insult to HBO but to the sport of Boxing itself !
