All fighters that fought with Bute had/have decent workrate and speed ! Abraham throws 3 punches per round and we all know that his power is utterly overrated ! He couldn't "drop" Stieglitz who has a chin made of cardboard ! :yep

I'd fancy Bute, but with that said AA can hurt Bute. If he can push Bute back, then he have a good chance stopping him. The funny thing with Bute that both him and AA are not good boxers imo. Froch, Kessler, Ward, Dirrell are all better boxers than both, but Bute good power and speed, but it's not like he throws combinations, which you have to do in order to beat Abraham. Very interesting fight

I would pick Bute by clear UD.
Butes workrate and elusiveness would cause AA problems that he has never found an answer for at SMW.
I thought Steiglitz edged AA and dont think AA is a very good SMW at all.

Magee had 35pct connect rate with his left hand on Bute, and some Buttards still think he'd beat Dirrell.

Andre Dirrell would knock him out cold in a few rounds.

Abraham is not someone who puts on notorious pressure, but Bute has been knocked out cold by a single right hand lead to the head, in the amateurs.

AA has a shitty workrate. Throwing three haymakers in a round is not that much to deal with. He also takes a lot of breathers, standing there stupidly behind his guard. Most of his opponents are afraid of AAs huge punching power, but even mediocre boxers were able to win at least a couple of rounds easily.

I think, Bute would outwork him, terrorize him with body shots and straight hands and force him into passiveness. When AA starts to feel the power of his opponent, he usually becomes inactive. In some way he's a typical bully.

I believe Abraham was a very good MW, not so good SMW. I give him this tho... He did troubled Ward. On the other hand he is a very slow starter and when against guys who know how to win rounds you start with a 4-5 rounds lost is impossible to get back into winning that fight on points. He seems to me he lost some of his sharpness and confidence tho, and have quite few losses that proves he ain't that good at least at SMW. I would say Bute wins a UD. Abraham is probably the only one at SMW who can turn Bute's lights off in one shot.
