Why did Lucian Bute lose to Carl Froch?

Againsed lesser opposition yeah, he's a cracking fighter. This was his first true 'world level' fight againsed a guy that had something to prove.

Froch reminded me of Hatton in the Tszyu fight that night. He was not leaving that arena with a loss and he ****ing knew it going in.

 

Froch is not elite. And Bute is nothing, overrated.

 

Bute fought Froch's fight. Thats it. No excuses.

 

You make it sound like he arrived on the Thursday night TT.
And all this stuff about hostile crowds? I'll go for that as long as it's an acknowledgment that he's incapable of performing outside of his hometown.
Bottom line is he's a good second or third tier fighter and a top bloke by all accounts,but the reason he lost is because he's nowhere near as good as many thought(myself included to a lesser extent) and got found out the first time he stepped outside his comfort zone.
He'll still beat most SMW's outside the top 3 or 4.

 

I would like to know what excuses Turbotime and Flashy KO will invent when Carl beats Bute's ass again in March.

Put simply Froch>>>>>Bute ... the first big punch Carl landed had Bute shitting himself,he even looked back at Carl at the end of round 4 with a look of sheer dissapointment and upset on his face,it was hilarious.

 

Easy on the weight drain excuse Flashy.You'd think he'd spent most of his career at cruiserweight.
He's been a career SMW.He was never weight drained for his easier fights and if it's such a problem,he should forget this fight and move up.

C'mon mate he was better than Magee let's be serious. Who's underestimating who now ?
I mean if you're better than Magee who did Froch so much troubles you at least expect to last the distance as, Kessler, Abraham, Dirrell and many others did.
It was something badly wrong regarding Bute's performance that night.
