He had a real trainer in his Corner?

Imagine him turning pro and getting with a Trainer like Steward, Roach or even Pedro Diaz. Do you think he wouldve been much more successful?

I sure think so. Haye is blessed with all of the abilities a great fighter should have. He is a great athlete with explosive hands and quick feet + great reflexes. His Chin was always rumoured to be china but he took some good right hands from Wlad so i think it is at least average.

The current Haye just lives off his athleticsm, he cant even throw a proper uppercut or a combination. I never thought that Booth is/was a good trainer.

    Yout thoughts?

Haye would be more successful if he went back to CW, fought 3X a year, and kept his mouth shut.

Okay, but what are your particular issues with Booth? I don't think Roach would have suited him at all. Steward, maybe. As it is, Booth and Haye appeared to work well together.

Booth's a genius revolutionary maverick trainer. Even the late great Manny Steward looked down with envy that he hadn't come up with the glove on the end of a brush and giant goth boots training method.

Balance - After throws one or two shots, he gets completely out of position/squared up and has to reset again.

    Booth is a good trainer.

You dont need to have a "name" to know how to fully prepare your fighter

Indeed. Look at Rob McCracken or even Jack Loew (a trainer who gets unfairly criticised IMO).

    Dumb thread.

Adam Booth is one of the smartest men in Boxing, in both a training and a business sense.
