With the recent world-wide exposure of Golovkin, I'd have to go with MW.

GGG, Geale, Martinez, Macklin, Quillin (looking a lot like Golovkin in his last fight) Pirog ...

A match between any of these guys is going to be exciting. Imagine a MW super six with this lineup!

Plus, there's guys like Sturm, & Murray just waiting for another chance.

Of course, virtually all the divisions beloe SMW are pretty stacked right now. I'ts been a great year for boxing, and 2013 should be even better, if the promoters can get there sht together.

Which proves what he said about how weak the division is.
Ward is top man sitting high but there are no top fighters left in the division.
Kessler was beaten by the previous eras champ when he was old at end of career and never looked the same since.
Froch lost to that terrible version of Kessler coming off a loss, not to forget that Froch has a low workrate and is slow and old
Abraham hasnt done much at SMW, his win over Steiglitz was debateable and that was Steiglitz who was destroyed by Andrade from the previos era who couldnt compete in that era.
Stevenson like Ward suffered against D Boone and who has Stevenson beat? Nobody
Dirrell hasnt done anything at SMW at all.

Its very weak times at the moment. the best win for Ward was unwell doubloe vision suffering Kessler which tells you what was left in the division

I think there are some interesting fights which could be made at LWW and WW

Bailey you're becoming more like that troll Jabber with evey post you print about Ward. By you're own admission , Groves is the next big thing at 168 and Clev at 175. Chavez jr will move up at some point.

He has solid competition all around him.

SMW has died down since its only really Froch and Ward left as the two major players and there's not a lot of sense in rematching them after last time...still, I'd like to see how much Kessler has left. JMW is my pick, but SBW is a close second.

A couple of months ago I was trying to figure out a quick, non bias way to determine the strength of the top guys in each division.
I ended up making a simple list of the number of Boxrec points the 10th ranked fighter in each division had.
I thought it was interesting, although by no means conclusive.

    Results were:

    Middleweight - 394
    Light Middleweight - 391
    Heavyweight - 385
    Welterweight - 361
    Super Middleweight - 312
    Light welterweight - 277
    Light Heavyweight - 272
    Cruiserwieght - 260
    Featherweight - 260
    Lightweight - 248
    Super Featherweight - 247
    Super Bantamweight - 244
    Bantamweight - 195
    Flyweight - 182
    Super Flyweight - 159
    Light Flyweight - 126
    Minimumweight - 106

There are some great divisions out there, but none of which have great fights announced, yet.

And thats why boxing is in shambles.
