I say give him an easy tune up "opponent" and then fight winner of cotto/trout. Or possibly DLH/mosely 3?
Exactly....they must swap clothes ever other weekend. Don't want to see or hear Oscar again. Let alone fight
Even Oscar would laugh at this thread. After struggling with personal demons for a while after his retirement, he seems to have accepted that his time has come and gone. The fewer past-their-prime shells trying the comeback thing, the better.
He should fight canelo. He will lose but it would make the casual fans think that canelo is the best and will make him a ppv star.
Did he? Damn, never mind I thought that, despite Oscar looking like a walking skeleton against Pacquiao, that he could've had a bit more to give at a healthy weight. The Forbes fight at 150 wasn't impressive, but was still good enough to convince me he could've beaten the non-elites at 154. The time between that fight and now, though, is what would make me inclined to believe that he probably doesn't have anything left in the tank at this point. Who knows?
he is a fighter that shocked me by not taking one more just to win and go home with how much he is worth and how much he could make im stunned he never came back i wish he took the K9 fight after he was called out
seems like that was just a way to get Canelo some attention. Oscar had his chance to comebback. Isn't he almost 40?
Yeah, he was born in February 1973 I think. Oscar is a legend, and could probably still beat somebody like K9, but he should honestly just stay retired. He's old, past it, and has nothing left to prove.
The thread is about his comeback ( maybe ) who cares what he could of done back in his prime ITS GONE
