It's just Oscar hyping Alvarez but also subtly telling his other 154lb fighters like Lara, "Alvarez is only getting big fights. You can stay under the radar where you can't hurt him."
Lol, I remember Oscar saying the same thing a while back when Victor Ortiz was still popular, something like "I could beat Mayweather and all these other fighters, but I don't think I can beat Victor." Oscar shouldn't even be taken seriously because he will say whatever **** he can to hype up his fighters. btw I think prime Oscar easily owns Canelo.
I hope he doesn't fight, that's all I can say about that. And I'd pick Carlos Molina, Erislandy Lara, among others at 154 to easily beat whatever Oscar of 2013 would look like.
Oscar didn't look all that bad v. Floyd, he could still put together a very high level 5 or 6 rounds of boxing which would be enough against all but the very top fighters. You can't judge everything from the Pacquiao fight, he was a walking corpse at 147, bleeding from the intravenous drips in his arms before Pac ever landed a punch.
Oscar once said the top conditioned Ricky Hatton would knock him out. This is the Ricky Hatton that will face Manny Pacquiao the following day. I wonder how he felt that Hatton was laid out cold in 2 rounds and he himself was berated in 8.
**** dude, didn't you say somewhere you are a teacher? There's no such thing as should of or would of. It's should have/should've or would have/would've. Just saying...cause you say it in almost every post and both wrong in the same sentence is ****ing ****.
