I've only used my new headgear for sparring twice so far. It feels really tight on my forehead and puts a lot of pressure on the eyebrow area. It gets to be distracting while sparring cuz I'm constantly trying to adjust it to relieve the pressure. I've been wearing the headgear for the past few minutes at home to see if I can break it in a bit, but now I'm starting to get a headache cuz of the pressure. Has anyone had similar experiences with new headgear? Any ways to break it in quicker other than sparring with it more?

^I've tried that, and although it feels more comfortable, wearing it a bit looser and just lightly hitting myself makes it slide up/down and left/right. I'm sure a couple clean shots in sparring would make it move even more. The communal headgear at the gym doesn't feel as tight on my head when I use it. I'm guessing it's because they're a lot older and have seen a lot of use over the years.

My cheek protector style headgear feels so much more comfortable compared to my new face bar style. If only it offered the same amount of protection.
