This saved the card for me. I've seen worse fights, but since I really had no interest in anybody on the card they seemed that much worse.

Mijares-Marquez for free on WBC website was good way to close out the night, though.

This was probably why the card was so boring for most people. None of these guys is very well known. With that said, we'll likely see Vazquez and Mayfield in the near future. I honestly don't know how Herrera made it to the final bell.

Vazquez is a very good fighter but boring and he's unknown and hbo wants a unification with the winner of Demarco and Broner. And Herrera vs Mayfield was a good fight on paper just didn't turn out that way. And Dulmore vs Abrego sucked too if not for the kd then the stoppage.

  9. I enjoyed the card. The first fight wasn't Hagler vs. Hearns but if you are a true fan of Boxing you had a reason to pay attention. As another poster said, Vasquez was doing some subtle things that were worth watching. As for the 2nd fight, I was really interested to see how well Mayfield would do stepping up with Herrera like he did. That was a good fight... Herrera took some huge shots from Mayfield and didn't go anywhere. Good notch under Mayfield's belt.

As for Abregu and Dulorme... that was a very interesting match-up. Abregu deserved that kind of shot on TV as he is an exciting power puncher. Let's get him in there against one of the other Argentines and we'll have a war.

Dulorme can probably recover nicely from this if he can keep his left up. He's a talented fighter.. he just got matched against the wrong guy too early in his career.

Vasquez is back again on the Dec. 8 PPV Pacman card versus Gesta.Hopefully Gesta will put an end to guys like Vasquez and the equally horrible Alexander, who have no business entertaining fans in Sho or HBO.

Mayfield certainly hit him hard and often. Herrera showed a heck of a chin. So did Mayfield, too.

i thought the first fight was godawful..almost similar to bailey-alexander except quintero tried hard to make a fight out of it..vasquez doesn't ever need to be on my tv again...herrera-mayfield was a decent brawl...mayfield didn't impress me much although explosive as anything..he needs work

thank god abregu-dulorme was highly entertaining..it was too much too soon for dulorme..he can come back from this though...abregu was damn impressive...man argentine fighters are doing it big in 2012.

The Vazquez-Quintero fight was pretty bad, I quit paying attention to it midway through. The Mayfield-Herrera fight was decent, seemed to start a bit slow then it became an alright fight. The Abregu-Dulorme fight was a nice fight that was also an upset and ended in a ko.

Main event was good. Didnt & dont gonna watch the first fight. Mayfield- Herrera was decent. Not on HBO caliber tho.
