James Toney, started at middleweight and ate his way to heavyweight. In 86 fights he has never been KO'd. He's only been knocked down a few times. What do YOU think about Toney; how has he survived his career without ever being KO'd ?
Both man. Hes among the best that ever lived. Look at his body of work. Then to add hes competing with heavyweights. Get outta here man. Hes an all time great
He's got to have both. For however crude he is, Sam Peter hits like a ******* and him landing flush power punches on a fat, faded middleweight without incapacitating him is ridiculous. When you see the older Toney getting tagged like that you realise the D couldn't have been all.
Both... he's shot as hell now, but he kept his atg chin at least. This content is protected Is that Lucia Rijker next to Manny BE?
Both, no question. The man fought no where near his natural weight class for a large part of his career and still displayed great skills and chin. Imagine if Hopkins got fat and went up to Heavyweight, would he be able to do what James has done? I doubt it. The only thing with Toney is you are left wondering what might have been if he had stayed in shape throughout his career.
Chin is better than his Defense. Got tagged a lot vs Jones, Jirov, Griffen, Tiberi, Johnson, McCallum, etc. but was hardly ever stunned in any fight.
