Joe would have been doing the Judah Chicken dance had he fought Roy in his prime, even worse than the one he was doing in the first round when Roy was washed up.

Mb so but Roy still woulda been beaten. Calzaghe is a different beast, 1000 punches a fight, is never tired, clowns fighters all day.

Roy would have caught him with his harder punches and quicker hands during an exchange and put his lights out.

Can't say that at all, Calzaghe has an iron chin! + Immeasurable recovery time. Can never count this man out.

Calzaghe is better than anyone on Jones's resume. Better than Tarver, Better than Johnson.

Jones wouldnt be able to handle this man's hand speed + work rate

    Jones handspeed > Calzaghe's

Joe's work rate would play right into Jones' hands, he loved when guys came at him. He'd carve Joe into a Welsh Jack-o-lantern.

Joe's chin isn't iron either, he got dropped by 50 yr old Hopkins.

    Good thread!

    Calzaghe didn't knock him out.

    He done something much worse.

He embarssed him and took his soul and last little bit of pride roid had left.

Lost respect for Calzaghe when he pulled that ***** ass move

How is it poetic justice? Ducking someone your entire career, then when he gets old, finally deciding to fight him and not only that clowning him.

Of course. Prime Joe comes to fight even harder and that would be his un-doing.

He wouldn't be able to handle Roy Jones' counters, too much heart for his own good and it would have gotten him carved up.

How did he avoid fighting him throughout his career they were at different weights for most of it ?

And Jones was well known for humil, iating opponents, have you not watched his fights ?
