    I always enjoyed listening to Manny's insights on HBO and in interviews. He also seemed like a really genuine person. RIP

    He was the ****ing man

    Poster from the lounge Rumsfeld had the priviledge of speaking to him everyday on the phone for a few years and they became close friends. He told me some amazing stories about Manny

    Great commentator, trainer and gentle soul in general

    RIP Manny Steward.........you were a champion person who had the ability to bring out the very best in a fighter & lift them off the canvas to come back a champion....the Kronk gym will always be remembered not only by its fierce fighters but also for the man that lead them........boxing will always remember you as an ATG for many reasons.

    One of the nicest guys I've been lucky enough to meet. An absolute gentleman. A trainer of great fighters and the mould for great people. Emanuel Steward is Detroit boxing. RIP Manny.

    I just heard the news. A terrible loss. Emanuel Steward was a boxing legend and will be sorely missed.
