I don't think its that unreasonable. Boxnation commentary was completely spazzy, I don't think Witter was clearly winning the rounds early that they claim he was. I could easily see 2-2 after 4, a point deduction and Gavin dominated middle to late.
Agreed that has to be one of the worst decisions i have ever seen, totally bizarre. After that Maloney knew Dallas was going nowhere and fed him to David Price.
I don't like Witter but It was pretty obvious the odds were against him, Although doing hardly anything between Rounds 4 and 11 didn't help him did It. Man Witter is so frustrating to watch.
Yeah, he could have given Witter more of a warning. As for Gavin punching to the back of the head, wasn't Witter turning around?
Nor me. From a decent seat behind the commentators I saw Witter making Gavin miss a fair bit but not doing a great deal in return. The rounds he did win were based on landing more rabbit punches than Gavin did in the clinches and a slightly higher level of ring generalship during that time. Not much else, in all honesty.
Never, it's quite obvious what is happening, it's about time boxing was cleaned up big time, but it's not gonna happen so, regarding last nights fight there was no way Witter was gonna win bar a knockout, the judges were against him, the referee was against him, it was all setup for a Gavin win, no question.
He made another **** up tonight in hull, tommy coyle nailed his opponent in the first round and you could see his eyes go and he let coyle throw about 6 punches 4 landed heavily before stepping in it was the opposite of his usual stoppages
Those scorecards once again were hometown wide margins for the house fighter. Gavin won ok, but the margins were so predictable. **** the BBBoC and their 'star' referees.
Never. He makes the right calls for those paying his bills and boxing has no proper governing authority to hold corrupt peices of dogs do do like him to account
