In order of preference.. 1. Pulev is the most interesting challenger and the best fight for Wladimir. 2. Povetkin should be ez work for Wlad but he might surprise us and improve under Kosta. 3. Haye II. After Wlad takes care of Pulev and Povetkin he should fight Haye again, provided that Haye defeats a contender in the interim. 4. If Povetkin ducks, Huck is an acceptable fight for Wlad. Huck has proven his qualities and is entertaining to watch. Good KO for Wlad; the fans will love it.B 5. Boystov/Fury or Stiverne/Arreola winner would be fine but these 4 will be wrangling for Vitali's title for a while. Wlad can fight the winner when its sorted out. The difficulty for fans is the first 4 names are all Sauerland fighters. K2 seems to have difficulty negotiating with Sauerland. Hopefully they can work it out and Wlad can get these legacy fights.
1) Povetkin - WBA mandatory, due first and a meaningful fight that has been a long time in the making. 2) Pulev - IBF #1 and with Adamek/Solis falling apart he'll probably become mandatory along with being the most proven contender and a interestng style matchup 3) Fury/Boytsov winner - Potential WBO mandatory due to both their high ratings and winner would be a deserving contender.
Seth would be my first just so he could shut some of the bruthas up .... then Arreola ....but I really dont think mitchell would do very good with Wlad .
After Wlad destroys Wach... Vs. Povetkin is the ONLY fight in the division that makes sense. (Outside of Haye/Vitali)
1)Povetkin, probably has the best names on his record. We've been waiting for that fight for 4 years. 2) Pulev, out of everyone yet to get a title shot he probably has the next best recent wins. 3) Helenius, has the wins to justify a shot, but depends on how well he has recovered 4) Winner of Boytsov/Fury I don't think there is anyone else who has earnt a shot yet.
Wilder? Are you ****ing kidding? The guy needs to take off the training wheels and fight a live opponent and maybe target a regional/minor title first.
