The choices you put up show your bias. "Yes. I'm a hater", come on now, why can't it just be yes for the sake of yes? The fact is, Floyd et al have run their course with the 24/7. As a person he's boring and tragically unfunny. I don't mean offensive, but more like lacking in with and timing. The first 24/7 was interesting just because we hadn't seen anything like that for a while, but after that it went down hill. As a fighter, he's superb, a special and rare talent. Everything he does outside of the ring though is borderline cringe worthy.

Pac too, he's terrible on 24/7, boring, not funny, and at this point we know basically everything there is to know about him. How many times can we listen to Liev Schriver vamp about General Santos City while images of poverty flit by the screen?

Chavez / Martinez was a pretty good, tight, 2 episode run. Long enough for us to get a feel for the fighters and their conflict, not to long that you felt like they were filling for time. There was a book written called 'The Professional" about a middleweight going through a training camp. The author keeps on making a point about how boring and repetitive training camps are, 24/7 sort of reinforces that notion.

IMO 4 episodes is too much. 2 episodes with Floyd would be more entertaining.

To answer your question - 24/7 will go on, no doubt about it. It will be even better with new blood! 24/7 like Rios-Ortiz would be classic. Also Broner-Khan/Garcia. 24/7 just need new blood.

Mayweather was not the spark, it was de la hoya. Nobody gave a **** about mayweather in terms of ppv event before he fough de la hoya. Mayweather has always benefited more out of his opponents fan base than his own, simply becasue he does not have a fan base himself that would pay to watch him fight a nobody without a fan base as oppose to de la hoya and even pacquaio.

 

Mayweather hasn't fanbase? You can tell that about pre DLH, but now Floyd is most popular fighter in the world, just look at his twitter followers/facebook.
