I don't even like Pac, but it's clear as day that Floyd wants nothing to do with him. I'm also convinced Arum wants nothing to do with Floyd, so Floyd is not 100% at fault. The only thing I blame Pac for is being too naive and not taking FULL control over his career.. Just a road block and hurdle for Pac to jump over. IMO at that time Floyd knew Arum was not crazy about the fight and would use any excuse not to make it happen.. Had Pac over ruled Arum and excepted the fight I believe Floyd would have come up with another loop hole.

Never said Floyd was scared either.. I think Floyd wins, in fact I think Floyd believes he can win, but he understands it will not be easy at all and probably feels he's going to take more punishment in this fight then he ever took.. Other words he knows it's a very risky fight and will avoid it as long he can until Pac gives in to ALL of his demands. Floyd wants to have his cake and eat it too.

 

Road block? Drug testing is a road block? Why didn't it block the road for Mosley, Ortiz, or Cotto when they had even MORE strict testing? Drug testing is only a road block if you refuse to drug test.

Risky? What fight isn't risky? To this day his LEAST risky fights have seen him in the worst positions, Judah ,Mosley, and Hatton. He has NEVER backed down from a huge money fight at WW. NEVER. Why should he?

Mayweather pulls the most money of anyone at the weight. Even with a lesser named opponent (Ortiz), Mayweather makes more than Pac against top names in the division. Looking at the years following? 50/50 was a GIFT. Pac deserves much less now. $40 million is a blessing.

Wow, being that ur all emotional over this I see ur one of those Floyd fans some people like to call "*****" or whateva the **** it is.. Way too Jr. High for me. Fact is Floyd never demanded USADA drug testing before Pacquiao and had to include it in all his fight negotiations after to save face and not look like a complete hypocrite.. Ur right every fight is risky, so why doesn't Floyd put all the B.S. aside and make the fight happen?? Why does there always have to be a loop hole? Just get it done and that's it. It's going to be the biggest fight in Boxing history and win, lose or draw he'll get all the love, respect and credit he could ever dream of just for making it happen.

And I agree with you that Floyd deserves more for the mere fact that he's going to SELL the fight more so then Many with his trash talking and out of the ring antics.. The man is the Vince McMahon of boxing. But 55-45 or 60-40 should be more then fair enough to get it done. Pac and Manny are the two biggest names in boxing and people will buy the fight regardless of Pac's last two controversial fights.. EVERYONE regardless of nationality or how much they even watch the sport of boxing wants to see Manny fight Floyd and Floyd fight Manny.
