Mayweather's resume needs pacquiao on it so ridiculously bad..

Not now but a couple of years ago it would have been floyds best ever win, a true career defining fight that erases all doubts & answers all questions, he wasn`t able to step up like Leonard & Duran did, like Whitaker & Chavez did... that`s why he`ll never rank with those guys, its that simple.

Forget the avatar thing, you can keep it if you like but floyd & pac fans let them off the hook by blaming the other side & not admitting that both of those dicks were responsible for the disgraceful circus act that went on for 3 years.... if one of those men really wanted this fight the way they should have it would have happened 100% because they would have made some sacrifices to get the other guy in the ring knowing that victory in the fight would FAR outweigh any sacrifices they made to get the fight signed.

The bottom line is neither of these guys wanted the fight & treated the fans like mugs by acting like it was going to happen soon while taking the fans money & feasting on lesser fighters. I won`t & can`t forgive that shite, boxing made them millionaires & they ****ed it in the arse... as well as the fans.

he's got DLH and Cotto (who's not even a "great" fighter himself but atleast very close to it. He's very overrated due to being Puerto Rican)

It's a shame, because he had the perfect chance to shut his critics up. If he had fought Pac after the Pac-Cotto match his record would have had a real boost. He would even be the favourite going into the fight. As it stands...I don't know how his legacy will be considered in the future.

2013 is probably the last chance to make this fight happen, because both guys are clearly past their prime. I believe that it took Hagler and Leonard around five years before they finally fought, and it looks like we might have the same scenario here -- people started talking seriously about Pac vs Mayweather back in 2008, after Pac fought Hoya.

 

floyd's got nothing to prove. he is an ATG already.

styles make fights, and i think manny pac will be a difficult fight purely because he throws a ton of punches. still i got floyd winning.

floyd is an awesome fighter. so is manny. but floyd has ROBBED the boxing fans of TWO, BIG fights in his career. the first one was against a prime Antonio Margarito when he was on a rampage back in 04-06. and now he is kind of ducking manny.
i dont think floyd wants to risk his '0' against VEry good, powerful, volume punchers like the 2 above.

still i think floyd is ranked amongst the greatest fighters of all time, and can beat anyone from 160 and below in a h2h.
