I almost put a 100 dollars on grachev and was rooting for him. Bute scraped by clearly. Better clearer punches+dodged lots of shots. Looked terrible though until the end.
Who do you reckon bought the judges off? It could be a combination of match room and interbox. Did you notice during the 1 minute intervals they'd show the 1 punch Bute landed in the whole 3 minutes? Haha it was a disgrace.

i dont know who but tbh i knew Bute was never losin that fight, it was in Canada he will always get the decision there especially when it coulda messed up a Froch rematch
I love the fact that all the Canadian Bute lickers are trying to polish a turd. He got his ass beat by a 12-0 novice. It's embarrassing the amount of bias these people exude and the fact that they flat out refuse to admit that their man took a horrific beating.
Grachev is underated. He is a smart fighter. He doesn't waste energy and goes to the body. He has a rock chin. He picks his spots and ups the tempo at the right time. The reason he didnt do this more near the end because he was taking really hard shots from bute that would floor other fighters. Just wish but did it more. Grachev was more hurt in spots than bute in this fight. Bute was more beaten up overall obviously.
Unlike Andre Ward, Bute fighting in his hometown actually has changed the outcome of a fight... I will tell you this- nobody is rushing to fight Grachev.
Was I the only one puzzled by the fact that this guy only had 12 professional fights? I know it's a tune up fight, but they couldn't find a gatekeeper? FFS
