GSP will buttwrestle his way to a boring victory.

    Agreed.

Actually, I'm rooting for Condit and I like his chances.

I think if GSP was a natural 185er and Anderson was a 170lbs, the finish ratio would similar if they fought the same guys

Fair point. Still, I don't see him finishing Condit. That would be a big surprise, and also a statement on GSP's part. Looking forward to it in any case!

  5. GSP needed a tuneup fight so its hard to say what will happen. It will be a good opportunity for condit to press and see if GSP buckles, gases or steps back. I will punt right now that condit will not take gsp easy and will be moving and circling a lot and probably avoid takedown and wrestling. Who knows though, it will be a tough challenge for Gsp and a KO is very unlikely

GSP no longer has the raw killer instict present in other champions such as, for example, Shinya Aoki, however, I do thing that Condit has some weaknesses on the ground which could lead to sub inside 5 for GSP.

Just cuz Aoki has lost a few times doesnt mean he doesnt have any killer instinct.

On an unserious note i still laugh at that pic

Since this thread is about GSP vs Condit, I will not respond to your childish Aoki hate :bart

Can anyone lend me in about CC's TDD?

I mean, I know the guy can **** up anyone standing up, but I've had nary an idea how he fares against guys who's looking to take it to the ground.

GSP has a powerful double leg.

I believe Rory M had him on his back, but I've only seen that fight once.

CC has as many wins by submission as he does by punching someone out.

I don't like the fact that GSP mentioned wanting to quit several times during the recent Primetime episode. I think the big X factor in this fight is how is the layoff going to affect GSP? You can't come into the ring under a layer of ringrust against a guy like Carlos Condit.
