Stieglitz refused Bute three times, even before winning that belt but maybe this time would agree.Yes, would be better Stieglitz in spring and if he beats him, Froch in autumn. I made a thread regarding Bute is not prepared yeat for Froch, but, considering his age (is near 33), his desire and the possibility that some one else (stevenson) to beat Froch before him and thus to send him into more humiliation, I don`t think his team will postpone the rematch.

I guess I'm in the minority thinking he needs to go for the Froch fight again. If there isn't an expiry date with this rematch clause, then I'd have him take one more tune-up to build his confidence. But if he's to claw back any of the respect he once had, he has to eventually face Froch. And seeing as though he's got the opportunity to bring him to his backyard, he should make the most out of it.

He'll have to go to Germany. Would he ? I don't believe so.

And you can not play the usual card "it makes more sense in Canada because he attracts huge crowds", AA is just as popular as him if not more. Against Stieglitz there were more than 15,000 people in attendance, and a couple of millions followed it on tv (I believe 7 or 8, maybe 9). :good

I wouldn't put him right away against Froch. I'd try Pavlik or Abraham, good opponents but winnable fights, to continue to rebuild his confidence, which was pretty low on Saturday night.

BUT: what does Bute want? In the past, when Bute and Interbox had a different opinion on a future opponent, Bute won his point every time. If Bute wants the rematch, he'll get it, good or bad for him.

Bute already has all the tools to outbox Froch. That is not the problem. The problem is he seems not to be able to use his assets while in front of the Cobra. That is mental, not technical. Froch knows how to neutralize Bute and it comes from his guts, not from his technical talent. Froch was the warrior in the ring, Bute froze when ha saw what he had to face. He froze again Saturday against Grachev until the end of the 11th round.

If the rematch takes place, I will be on his side though because I'm still a fan of Bute the boxer and Bute the man. I'll admire his courage if he goes back in the same ring after the beating he took and I'll hope.

    I can't do nothing more.

For those saying the needs to change the trainer... What trainer can Bute hire. I can only think of Naazim Richardson. I never believe Bute would change Laroche tho, he took him in when he was basically a kid and knew nothing about Canada not even the language.
The only thing to be done in this area is for Larouche to hire a trainer for advices, that's about it.
