They both deserve one, Bradley hasnt achieved what Martinez has at this stage in his career though, not even close. He just cleaned up against Pac anyway

Of course Maravilla deserves it. He fought a dangerous, prime Pwilly when no one wanted to fight the much avoided Williams. Roach and Floyd expressed interest in fighting the winner, but quickly changed their minds after Sergio's hellacious ko. Sergio is never in a boring fight and he delivers all the time.

My Question is why is everyone looking for Floyd to be their big Payday when they can become their own big payday, that is the reason he has such an ego if every fighter is saying I dont want to fight anyone but floyd instead of fighting each other and generating the income on their own they should not get a payday just by looking to fight 1 man they should be looking to clean house and make themselves that guy that commands 40 million or 25 million or 5 million

Sergio Martinez 1st fight with Paul Williams is what made me start watching boxing.

I never had an interest in the sport before. Martinez has an exciting, pleasing style and his fights are amazing. He is good for the sport. His last fight with Chavez was awesome cause of his bravery in the 12th round.

Of course he deserves a payday you idiot.

this is the same arguement people discredit floyd for using what is the motivation for him to fight Sergio when he would make more fight pac or canelo, or the winner of berto/guerro yes even the winner of berto guerro would be a huge payday on par with sergio

I am not saying he should not fight martinez because he should! im just tired of hearing all these fighters trying to get on the floyd fight cashout retirement plan instead of just fighting to the point were they dont need floyd to earn their money it has bottle neck 3 weight classes because all of these guy are scared to fight each other and loose because they ill miss their loerty ticket

At least berto/robert are fighting each other and golden boy would hype the winner of that fight to fight floyd , I say sergio should come down and fight someone at 154lbs and call out floyd after that fight not while your at middle weight because it gives floyd a built in excuse to just ignore him

Bradley has already had him money fight against Pacquiao.

Also, Bradley is still in his 20s and has a good few years ahead of him.

Martinez is in his late 30s

Thats the whole point, Martinez could fight 5 of these guys and not make a fraction of what he would in one fight against Floyd.

thats why i think if sergio wants that fight bad enough he should kick down the door at 154 because now he is a name that everyone not name floyd would want to fight and beat a couple of them guys and force floyd to **** or get off the pot. there are only 3 fighters at 154 that can flat out avoid sergio floyd, alverez, cotto everyone else would be looking at him as a big money fight so he should knock them off and punk out floyd as he does it, it is just him being at 160 calling out floyd give floyd a built in excuse not to fight him
