How can you possibly call Mares a hypejob ? it makes no sense, in his first five championship bouts he's fought Perez, Darchinyan, Agbeko x2, Morel and now in his sixth championship fight he's trowing down with Moreno

and you just know win or lose he'll continue to fight monsters like Santa Cruz, Donaire or Rigo

Both Moreno and Mares are great, and i'm big fans of them both. This Saturday should be great!

 

I think it depends where you train, if you're training in America all the time then I don't think you can count that as fighting on the road.

I think when a fighter does most of his camp in one country and then flies to another for the last 2 weeks preparation then that is fighting on the road, think Hatton did this a few times. Froch does it all the time.

Almost all of Lennox Lewis's fights as World Champion were held away from his home country. Tucker, Jackson, McCall 2, Akinwande, Golota, Briggs, Mavrovic, Holyfield 1 and 2, Grant, Tua, Rahman 2, Tyson and Klitschko all took place in the US - Rahman 1 was fought in a neutral venue in South Africa while Bruno, McCall 1 and Botha were fought in Britain. The other "big" fights Lewis had were against Biggs in the US and Ruddock in the UK.
