    Absolutely.

Wach is a warrior and all wrong for Klitschko.

A gift against the non-threat Timur and Oquendo....and an ugly fight with Maddalone?

No, his resume is not better.
Unless losses on a resume are positives.

Heavyweight Boxer Wach is a more legitimate threat than Bodybuilding Cyclist Haye.

Even if you gave him a draw with those 2 guys,it would still be better than anything Wach has done.

In fact the Maddalone fight is better than anything Wach has done!

Maddalone is better than a near 300 lbs McBride and Tye Fields

If he actually throws punches he becomes a bigger threat

To be fair, before Wlad fought Mormeck I said I couldn't see him lasting more than 3 or 4 rounds either. So in my mind we are basically splitting hairs there.

The point I was trying to make is that I have seen an increasing number of posters trying to build this up as a hard fight for Wlad. Boxing is all about opinions and I personally cannot see that at all. If you or anyone else seriously believe this is a tough fight, I respect that. After all I could be wrong.

My real issue is with those posters that do this same thing before every single one of Wlads weak defenses. To try and legitimize the bout and make Wlad look better when he wins impressively.

I'm a fan of Wlads. There are reasons beyond his control as to why he is not always fighting great opponents. But Wlad dosn't need his own boring fanboys making BS excuses for him on a forum. And I, among many others could do without it as well.

I think it comes down to the Jab.

As big as Wach is, if he can't land his jab effectively on Wlad, (which I dont think he will) then he will lose the fight.

Even if he has a bigger reach, he needs to ram that jab into Wlad's face at every opportunity; Giving Wlad a taste of his own medicine, so to speak.

I would be interested to see how Wlad would react to somebody doing that. But it is unlikely Wach will be able to get his jab into Wlad's face often enough.

    Just my two cents...

The jab is important and will be interesting but if it turns to a brawl or inside fight then Wlad might be in trouble.

    No question!

Wach is showing up to win.

    Haye showed up to survive.

Not a chance, Wach is merely decent, Haye however is world class.

Sure didnt look like it when he had his chances against Valuev and Wlad:lol:

It does not take much to outshine Haye when it comes to facing Wlad...fight like a man and not a scared little ***** and that's that.

Please point out what about my statement was incorrect brother

I did not say he was a pretty short fighter, I'll well aware how tall he is, I said he's pretty appalling

I've watched every fight he's had that is worth seeing, he has very slow footwork, slow handspeed, very low work rate, poor technique, good power but no real craft or means of delivering it

Wlad outstrips him in every single aspect by a significant margin, aside from size and possibly chin, he will dance around him as if he is Muhammad Ali himself

There is only one real way Wach can win this fight, and it is by roughing up Wladimir and forcing him to fight at an uncomfortable work rate, Wlad had problems early in his career with stamina and I beleive only his measured approach and excellent pacing stops him from beng in danger of this, in fights where he's had a real physical struggle with opponents who can force him to throw and give something back at the end of it, he seems to wilt a little, it certainly seemed that way in the case of Peter, purity & Brewster, where exhaustion seems to be a factor in him seeing the canvas as much as anything else, if Wach can manage to really bully him in the clinches and try to land ssome good shots he has a small chance, the problem is Wachs conditioning in all his fights has seemed pretty sub par, even too much to give the above method + his power any chance of a victory with him

I really hope I am wrong but I think Wachs size will make Wlad overly cautious and the fight could turn out to be a bit of a one sided stinker
