that question just came to me when I thought of pacquiao's situation, where jmm was robbed in their third fight, pacquiao was subsequently robbed in his fight with tim bradley, and if the upcoming fourth pacquaio-marquez fight resulted in a robbery, most likely for marquez, that would be three consecutive robberies that pacquiao was involved with.

has this ever happened to any other fighter?

I can't say for sure and I can't name the specific opponents, but if it happened to anyone, it must have happened to Emanuel Augustus.

When? Are you saying the Arslan fight was a robbery? And can a razor-thin fight that ends up as a draw (Afolabi II) really be a robbery?

No, never three in a row.

Arguably - he was definitely robbed in Shumenov II, but most had him winning Shumenov I and the Garay fight, although all three were controversial.

Not even close, 2 out of 3 though possibly.

I can't think of any 3 in a row. Plenty of 2 in a rows - Chop Chop Corley more than once, Oscar DLH (Shane II then Sturm), Casamayor, Glen Johnson, Wlodarczyk, etc.

Byrd had Oquendo, Golota, and McCline 2 are called robberies by some, Byrd went down vs McCline and won an SD dont think anybody call robbery

Valuev had 2 in a row vs Donald (never saw it some say it is) and Ruiz I...Then another 2 with Ruiz 2 and Holyfield 2 though i saw neither

    Gabriel Campillo

Shumenov 2 - That was a farce. One of the craziest robberies I'v ever seen.
Cloud - Who really thinks Cloud won the fight? 1 out of 15 maybe..
Murat (2 fights) - Most of people believes Campillo won both fights.

He could/should be 25-1 with a titlebelt on his waist. But his official record stands 21-4... Now he has no belt and no one wants to face him.

    Such a unlucky warrior :-(

Somebody mentioned Chris Byrd but did'nt name of the list of fighters he was gifted decisions against.

    Yes, fighters.....
Imo after beating Holyfield, Byrd was gifted in each of his first 4 title defenses until Wladimir finally knocked him senseless.
The gifts came vs Fres Oquendo, Andrew Golata, Jameel Mcline, and then imo Byrd was gifted in the worst Heavyweight title fight in boxing history vs Davarryl Williamson.

I scored that atrocious fight for Williamson because for lack of output by both fighters, at least Williamson landed a few of the jabs per round he was flicking out.

Thats 4 gift decisions in a row, I doubt anyone has been gifted as many in a row.
