Sure this was the fella Kimbo was gonna face a while back then he pulled out. He's got to be pony. Maloney's right TBH..
Before anyone starts yes Toby Jacobs is me, i'm the man who invented the kid. But yeah Toby's spot on :yep.
I'm pleased to see its with someone who is inexperienced (in the pro game at least), rather that than some journeyman with 90 fights and 85 losses or some latvian lorry driver. Lets be honest whoever they put him in was going to be criticised. I for one am pleasantly surprised.
TBH mate giving it a go is going in the AM's. Not profressional game and don't get me wrong this Latvians and other shockers shouldn't have a license but sorry this is the hurt game and if he got sparked brutally which he could well do the way he looks on pads it doesn't paint the sport in a great light. Him lying on canvas needing oxygen... The only thing that makes me calmer on this subject is he won't be fighting anyone to dangerous and also he must of past a grading bout i presume.
Maloney's a mug and probably has hump it clashes with his Price show which he moved onto same night. That's the way he is TBH.. But i totally understand where he's coming from on this one. Makes a change...
What bull****.. If it wasnt Freddie Flintoff no one would give a **** about his lack of experience.. Maloney is a first class ****..
If Kimbo had his eye on Dawson he's a sure thing dud. Always makes me laugh when they refer to guys who've had 2 fights as 'undefeated' I hope Richard Dawson, whoever he is, got more than 2 and a half weeks notice.
Yeah like he's had some extensive record. I cannot for life of me see what Flintoff wants to achieve beyond this. I'm sure this guy was a Darren Anderton of Cricket. Forever injured and body falling apart...
I think Flintoff is entitled like the rest of us to give a few things a go. He probably could have challenged someone to a game of marbles and people would have paid to watch. Assuming Flintoff wins, probably a very good assumption, he'll probably have a few more fights against other carefully handpicked opponents.
As i mentioned earlier, giving it a go is fine but really should be done in AM's. TBH the clips of Flintoff he's not great i'd like to see him get through this and then jack it in. This sport shouldn't be played at, but his saving grace is fact they ain't gonna put him in with anyone to test him. But it's all pretty pointless really he's playing at the sport if he will only face soft touches. This guy could be ok but could easily be a Zelenoff type show fighter..
