I honestly think Froch will never be the same again after his next two fights

After two KO losses... I'm not sure about that, unless Dirrell loses his next two fights. JT and Froch should be the bottom two.

That's a price to pay when entering a tournament like this. It doesn't matter, this is great for the fans and even though Froch doesn't have great defensive skills is clear that he has a lot of heart.

Well my guess is that JT ends up with zero points... Dirrel is fighting AA next, and Ward in the third round. No easy wins for Dirrel in this tournament.

Froch has the head to head advantage over Dirrel.

I doubt that Dirrell beats Abraham, which then leaves him needing a knockout against Ward to finish above Froch....

If Froch gets passed Kessler then who will he face after that? Because if its Abraham, then she better start running. Arthur may be the biggest puncher of the six guys. From the start of the tournament, I said Abraham would win it & I stand by that!

People try say he's not that skillful or technical, & while he's does not appear to be the most technical fighter out there, he is underrated in this respect!

After Kessler cleans Froch's clock he'll want nothing to do with Abraham.

Even if he gets KOed in his next two fights, as long as he gives his all and puts up a fight, and I am sure he will, Froch will become well-known and popular and make some decent money. Then, he can fight the likes of Bika or Miranda in a come-back fight in Nottingham, before taking on another 2-3 fights in America and Canada. Then he can retire. Given his skills and talent, that wouldn't be so bad; he is 32, he has less than 9,000 fans willing to pay to watch him fight at home and there is no British TV station interested in him and his promoter.

    That is a sobering thought.

I only wonder if Kessler might get enamored with the ko idea and fight a wrong fight vs Froch. Likely, he's too smart, but it's a possiblity.

More likely, though, is a rematch of a pasting, which you don't see all that often.

Hang on I jsut caught that part: if Kessler pastes him, there's a chance they meet again in the final/later in the tournament?

So it's just reliving a nightmare

Just reading through this thread makes me makes me realise how nobody ever has a clue how a boxers career is going to end up

Carl Froch - iron chinned hero and a man who continually proves the doubters wrong. Under-estimate the great man at your peril.
