A great Crusier. He could easily go back down tomorrow and unify the division all over again.

ATG only at cruiser. But he's definately a HOFer.

Great Cruiser weight but at heavyweight he's achieved nothing of real note other than picking up a title which in this era of multiple titles means little. His accomplishments at heavyweight have been matched by guys like Herbie Hide, Tommy Morrision, John Ruiz etc. I wouldn't rank any of them as ATG's at heavyweight so there is no way Haye could ever be regarded as a great.

Holyfield aside, the term "ATG Cruiserweight" is an oxymoron

Bollox. In that case no SMW can be deemed great. Some fighters whole career's are at crusier. Great achievements exsit for them if they are good enough to go out and get it. Take your pseudo intellectual drivel and apply it somewhere that matters.

He's an ATG at cruiserweight but as someone already said that's just down to that particular divisions lack of history.

If you're asking is he an ATG P4P, or at heavyweight, then is he ****. And I'd consider myself a fan of Haye and watch every one of his fights, but he is absolutely nowhere near it.

No i dont think so, potentially hall of fame though for the attention he received high KO percent and 2 weight champ

I dont know if he is even a top 5 cruiser he was unified WBA WBC WBO and was he RING but his title stay was short, there have been several belt holders at Cruiser who have had 5 to 10 defenses over multiple yrs at the top

i dont know maybe im bias but he wasnt in many championship fights

The CW Champion and a title holder at hw, it is quite impressive but his resume is thin. I think Haye had the potential but his career was little bit letdown BUT he did archieve pretty much only having less than 30 fights!

    He is special fighter.

Pfft...keep in mind that guys like Huck and USS have better wins at CW than Haye.

How can he possibly be the #2 when there is a multitude of past CW's with much deeper resumes.

He has talent but he just doesn't fight. He needs to fight some top 10 guys.
