How Did You Feel Right After The Hopkins-Calzage Decision?

I remember thinking it was a close fight and I felt relieved Calzaghe won. Mainly because I felt his legacy was on the line more so than Hopkins.

 

"Thank goodness that's over."

 

Relieved that there was no robbery and annoyed with Joe Cortez.

 

Not the best fight, but the right man won. Hopkins looked gassed and was resorting to "veteran" tactics to stall the fight.

 

I was at a prom party, so pissed.

 

Amazed that they gave it to Slappy Joe.

Not that he didn't deserve it, but it hardly ever happens in the US that the visiting fighter wins a decision, certainly not when it's close.

 

I felt that Calzaghe had won by a really close decision.

 

I thought Calzaghe won a real close fight because he was more busier while hopkins was doing too much holding.

 

I felt that the right guy got the decision. I was rooting for Bernard, even though he made an extremely ignorant "white boy" comment at the press conference. I felt Calzaghe definitely earned the decision and I scrored it twice.

That has to be the least talented fighter to ever rob a world title! SMH!

 

I thought "WTF? How could Joe look so bad against an aged Hopkins?". When rewatching the fight I had Calslappy winning a close fight but I was amazed how Hops could make that fight into a stinker...

 

I know Joe won the fight but it could have gone the other way as it was so close. Hopkins fought good but that low blow faking **** probably cost him the fight.
