Why does everyone make such a point of saying "no excuses" when it's such a pick'em fight? I would hope there aren't any excuses. That phrase would seem to make more sense applied to a fight like Peter-Maskaev.

The no excuses statement took a life of its own and came about when Pac fans started to accuse those picking JMM that they would use the "JMM is old and thats why he lost to Pac excuse."

Then there was a thread started with alot of the regulars here being asked beforehand to make a pick and no excuses.....

The funny thing about it is that alot of the Pac fans think are predicting that Pac will win but for the very same reason that they're accusing and insulting the JMM fans that they will use that he is old excuse afterward.

The Pac fans dont want to hear anybody discrediting a Pac victory, but when analyzing why Pac will win, alot of them state JMM's age as a factor!:rofl

    Go figure!:D :nut

Yo count me in. I picked Pacquiao to TKO Marquez in the 9th. Im pretty sure most people would pick his straight left as the one he'll use when he KO's JMM. But I have a real gut feeling it'll be Pac's right hook this time that'll do the job. Either to the head or to the body.

    Pacquiao TKO9

i started that thread and take full responsibility for it. i did it for both sides. i also wanted no bad socks or injured hand excuses if pac lost. please do not think it was made on the assumption that pac would steamroll jmm
