Why no questions? Surely there should be. Floyd fought a smaller top 10 (lower-half at best) P4P'er and he knocked him out as he should have, Pac took on someone who is at least top 5 P4P and in most experts' lists #3 and won a tough split decision, that is something that should at least rattle the braincells to recalculate.

There's going to be a problem with that criterion if a fighter picks the path of least resistance. Of course a fighter won't lose if he fights the less worthy opponents.

Not a robbery, that is stupid. Was a close fight with Pacquaio doing the most damage including the KD... pure and simple. Give Pacquiao credit, what ever happened to "NO EXCUSES"?

    :yep :yep

It's a psycho case. Because of the "heavy favorite" tag, the win of MP after a not-so-convincing win made the sore losers think a win for JMM is the more acceptable result. For them, MP should win by KO to win and because JMM went the full route they consider him the winner.

Could have gone either way, another draw would have been a fair result, but not a robbery.

that body language dosent mean ****...all it shows is that jmm was proud to have fought to such a close decision- while manny was embarrassed to have fought to a close decision.......different standards you see.....:hi:

    Yore really stupid are'nt you.
Here we go again with bitching with the age. I knew it will be posted sooner or later by whining ass sourgrapers who can't get hold of reality. And by the by, it's you.
Shorter maN? HA-HA real funny. Considering that jmm had a 5-inch advantage on reach with superb counter-punching skills. Smaller man? I guess you don't do your assignment well. Pause before posting lies like this before it gets scrutinized. OK? :thumbsup

I disagree with that happening. If he won by KO, people will just say marquez is old and past his prime. Thats why i hate these people with fcking excuses. Nate Campbell was old and he won a hard fight against diaz.

Now that pac won via decision they say "its robbery and it should have been 115-113 or 114-113 for marquez". Well think over what you people just said 115-113, 114-113. Those are close scores indicating a close fight, it couldn't have been a robbery because it could have gone either way.

When you thought mosley won against cotto, did you ever thought that it was robbery? By the number of robbery threads tonight I just think there is discrimination against fighters like pacquiao? Do you hate pacquiao? Do you hate his fans?

Agree. His overall score card was close, but Mosley rounds were going to Cotto and vice vers all the time. It was riciculous.

I thought JMM by a point or maybe two, so in cases like that you cant really complain about the decision, its always going to be a lineball thing.

Having not seen much of Pacs career, only watching his last two fights I have to say I'm pretty underwhelmed by him. Obviously his last two fights are not a fair indication of his total career and while he definetely has power he leaves himself wide open a lot and is asking for trouble with those wild lunges forward. I get the feeling hes ripe for the picking but will take a good technician willing to take some chances to do so. He did seem fatigued for a few portions of the fight and that body shot by JMM really slowed him to a walk for a bit.

Still, a great title fight, got my moneys worth and kept our household entertained all the way through.
