They both took unmerciful 12 round beatings from the bros.

    Whose was worse?

Briggs appeared to be more damaged by the end. I also felt more sorry for Briggs, as he looked completely helpless.

Yeah, it seemed a little more brutal what happened to Briggs

Briggs. Was taking more sustained punishment and was close to going down on a number of occasions. One of the most one sided beatings I've ever seen in a boxing ring.

Wach was more similar to someone like Mavrovic when he fought Lewis. Generally getting outclassed and taking head snapping shots, but they were single shots and one twos with a fair bit of recovery time in between.

Briggs was getting almost constantly pounded on in the later rounds.

Briggs. However I have a funny feeling if Wach vs. Briggs that Briggs would win?!?

    Hmm....

Briggs took more punches, but I think Wach took generally harder punches. Hard to say since we've seen pics of Briggs in the hospital the day after, and we don't know what Wach will look like tomorrow morning yet.

Briggs. He collapsed after the fight and had his face broken. There was a hospital pic of him circulating on ESB after the fight with Vitklit. His head looked like a blown up melon

    Edit:
Her is the pic I meant

Probably Briggs. Wach took the harder shots, but also not quite as many. At least Wach kept his hands up. I guess we will know for sure in the next few days.

I think if Briggs was taking what Wladimir was dishing out tonight he would have been beat up worse if he made it the full 12 rounds. Wach can really take a punch.

The fact that Briggs had already been in a lot of wars and was shopworn when he fought Vitali made his beating a lot worse.

Imagine Wlad laying a beating like he did on Wach to someone who had already been in a lot of wars?

Mavrovic landed more punches than Lennox did in that fight. I don't really think these are comparible fights.

This. Wach's corner should have protected their fighter, and had the fight stopped in the 8th round.

briggs...at least wach actually managed to get wlad in trouble during the fight and touched up his eye but i didn't think wlad was going to kill him although he kept a steady 1-2..briggs was just a punching bag for vitali...its a wonder he wasn't killed in the ring that night..hell its a miracle that he didn't go down

Nah, although the 8th was hard to take, they were right not to stop it as Wach was punching again (most of it in the air, mind you) in later rounds. He still had a chance to get the KO by just throwing and basically that's all he ever had from the first round.
