If you mean vs Wach, I don't thinks so because some of them were clean punches, plus Povetkin was hurt by Chagaev and Huck. Povetkin doesn't want the title so it doesn't really matter.

 

Don't think so. Povetkin won't have much of a chance to stop Wlad either, although he might be able to hit him more than Wach due to his faster hands and better timing. It still wont be nearly enough. So now you see, why Atlas wanted Povetkin as far away from Wlad as possible. It's really an impossible fight for Povetkin. He should be fighting guys like Adamek and Haye to try and prove his chops, but these are in doubt too after he nearly lost to Huck who isnt that great to begin with. This fight just wouldn't be fair. Either Povetkin adopts Haye's cowardly tactics or he gets brutalized and stopped.

 

For some reason I see Povetkin dumping his 'belt' in the dustbin and running for the hills after yesterday's fight.

 

Povetkin is a better fighter than Wach, but he doesn't have half of Wach's durability. And rest assured, he doesn't have the defense and anticipation to avoid taking right hand bombs against Klitschko. A number of guys haven't had any issue landing cleanly on Povetkin. He'd wind up getting stretched - probably after walking into a straight right hand.

Against the Wlad we saw last night? Not a hope in hell. The shots in the first round who have KO'ed a lot of fighters let alone all the shots Wach took over the next 11 rounds.

 

Povetkin wouldn't even survive the pre fight instructions before pissing all over himself. He wouldn't last 4 rounds.

 

Hell no with out Teddy Atlas training him I cant even see him holding on to his title for much longer.

The punishment Wach received in round 8 would have even knocked Vitali down.
