Outside the ring, it was Floyd because he beats women, pokes faces, shoot innocent people, threw his daddy outa his house, gave frozen turkeys, etc,, Inside the ring, it was Floyd also because he fakes retirements and vacations to avoid tough opponents. Will not blink his eyes if he needs to weight cheat or sucker punch his opponents to ensure his victory.
he's not only the harder hitter but has the better work rate and can punch in bunches with blazing speed in different angles. taht's why fighting him is dangerous for any opponent and even floyd is wary of this. another example is with mosley. against floyd, he continuously moved forward after getting tagged but against pac, once he was put on the canvass, he has no other choice but to ran and we never knew that this would happen to a warrior like mosley. hatton and cotto both knew they had no chance against floyd? how did you arrived on this conclusion? cotto even walked out after the fight thinking he has done enough to win and you're saying cotto knew he has no chance? :huh basically, what the TS meant in this thread is the over-all respect that each fighter commands. even the late manny steward can see what pac had did in the last couple of 5 to 6 years in carrying boxing.
Inside the ring obviously it's floyd. Hence why he is always the favourite in his fights whether they be real or fantasy. PAC on the other hand was expected to lose to many opponents not because they were superior but because people believe PAC skillset to be limited even when he moved up in weight. whereas floyd moving up was always considered the favourite due to his natural talent and he has proved that with perfect record in 5 different weight classes and is still going strong at 35 years of age. Outside the ring PAC is more respected, quite easy to see why.
I hate when u *******s lie, cotto did no such thing. He left the ring to get medical treatment and it was confirmed he was pissing blood. Also cotto went on record and said he had no problem with the decision. You god damn liar:rofl
so one poster said cotto knew he has no chance and i'm the liar? so where is your evidence that cotto came into the ring knowing that he actually has no chance? and i'm at least right with the walking out aspect. where is the source that he walked-out because he was pissing blood? it's my first time to hear that.
respect or are they picking him to win? they are not the same. the guy in your avatar respected pacquiao more than mayweather and he is one of the best trainers in the world.
WTF I never said no such thing. I was calling bull**** on your story about how cotto left the ring after the fight because he protested the decision and thought he won. That was a lie.
Why wouuld a fighter who retired when the welterweights were fighting each other, and unretired when everybody is battle worn and only to fight a fighter who never even fought at a junior welter be respected? Posters apparently can not differentiate respect from appreciation of one's skill.
