I was whating Babu the other day and he has a very nice variation of the arm triangle where you grip the elbows instead of the other standard grips.

If i'm ever up there I'll let you know... it's doubtful though as it is closer for me to get to Belgium than Scotland

:thumbsup You can defend against that one by grabbing the arm with leg. If the person does do that though all you need to do is tripod and they will tap :deal

theyve become my favourite submission. the trick is to get the finger in finger grip and repeatedly use your head for leverage pushing into their tricep while pulling your own wrist all the way through, youll actually feel it lock in like when you put a car in gear.. THEN you squeeze.

    instant taps bro i swear.

When you say "benching 110kg", for how many reps is that?

Yep, I think that choke out of any of them works well for me because I am 5'9 and I have really short arms and I am stalky, so it leaves little room to breath for my opponent.

I do however have a hard time landing a RNC and an Anaconda or things like that, but like I said I am a white belt so technique could be a very large issue for me as well.

Just remember "position before submission" and everything else will fall into place.

    Yo...

I had a few matches at -94.3kg with the Gi (Heavy) today.

It was my first time back since my knee injury. I didn't win either match but it was good to get back in there.

Hopefully next time I'll be at -88kg next time.

    Feedback lads...
