agreed. although I have no sympathy for margarito after the hand wrap scandal. but that eye injury definitely ended his career.

So you're OK with deaths in the ring and debilitating brain injuries.

Definitely Wlad vs Wach in round 8. That was bad, Wach will not be the same.

No I'm not "OK" with it, but it happens in this sport. What do you expect? Its a sport where people get punched in the face/body for years, and these warriors have made their choice to step in that battlefield. As for brain injuries, of course that's going to happen with ANY boxer that continues their career longer then they should.

This makes it even more clear just how lame Wlad was against the punching bag known as Wach.

Vitali used to actually attack his opponents with serious intent. Wlad does just enough to win.

Look at most past champs interviews. It was sad to hear Joe Frazier and not understand half the words he said, so I don't have a problem with refs stopping fights a little soon. I think the refs in the UK are doing a better job in that department.

It would be stupid to say : Ok it's a violent sport, let them blow their heads off. The sport would be banned if it wasn't properly supervised (most of the time). There's no need to see 12 rounds of a guy beating the other guy to a pulp. I'm for competitive match up where both guys can walk the next day. We are in 2012.

I'm not flaming anyone except for the fact they just stop fights too soon these days. If you cannot handle violence maybe you shouldn't watch boxing.

Well how come fighters like Jake Lamotta got beat up to a pulp by Sugar Ray Mother****in' Robinson for 13 ROUNDS + 5 other fights with him and is still alive today? But whatever you're right its 2012, and fighters have gone softer.

I agree. The referee should have waved it off after the ninth round if not much earlier. Wach was so badly outclassed - but Wladimir's form looked awful. I'm sure he was affected by the loss of Manny Steward or he would have put his punches together a bit better and taken Wach out.
