Was just thinking back to that fight with upcoming Pac V JMM 4, and wondering how that fight ever got made if JMM was/is with TR? I thought Floyd and them cant work together. How did they for that particular fight?

marquez was sign with goldenboy when he fought mayweather, then marquez left golden boy in order to get a pac fight, and signed with top rank

ok, makes sense, missed that. Just seemed like he was always with TR because of all the Pac fights and the tension between GB and TR. But I guess that came after those. Assume Pac v Hoya was prior to the bad vibes between TR and GB? I cant keep track of whos not working with whom. Such BS.

At the time, that was a "big" money fight for Pac. Far more than he had ever dreamed of making. Far to big to turn down, with not much to lose.

Yeah, DLH and Floyd were supposed to have a rematch but they couldn't agree on purse terms so Floyd 'retired'. DLH looked absolutely **** and weight-drained at 150 vs Steve Forbes and Manny stepped in for Floyd.

Not many fought Manny would win, DLH was the big favourite. In fact, Pacquiao let down quite a big acca for me that day at the bookies. I had quite a few quid on a few football teams and Manny to win on points. Was literally on my knees begging for DLH to hold on.

From what I understand, Marquez is his own promoter. He's a free agent that can deal with any promoter. Arum will work with Marquez as long as he's not with GBP!
    Honest Bob holds grudges! :deal
