Floyd Mayweather still in Running

    Another boxer falls before reaching Rocky Marciano’s 49-0 (43) record when Thailand’s Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo, 43-1 lost for the first time in his 44th fight in a title attempt. Chris John stops Piriyapinyo Win Streak at 43!

    It was John’s 17th title defense and improves his record to 48-0-2.

    Closest to Marciano’s record are Floyd Mayweather and Argentina’s junior welterweight Cesar Cuenca with 43-0 identical records though Cuenca has only stopped ONE of his opponents.

    At the rate Mayweather fights (4 fights in last 5 years) he could approach Marciano’s record around 2019!
